Want to help? Here are a few ways to get started.
Become a member
Our most important asset is our community and its members, who are helping to mold and become the future of the credit union. Until now, we’ve kept membership growth small and controlled. In the first week of February, 2012, we’ll begin sending member invites to the waiting list we’ve built over the last year.
If you’re under-35, entrepreneurial, hungry, and love cooperatives and credit unions, you should consider requesting an invitation. New invites will be sent out in the order they were requested, so grab one soon.
Note: Beginning in February, membership will cost an annual fee of $99. Click here to learn more about why that’s the case, and where that goes.
Suggest a Development Opportunity
Our development projects are designed to give back to the credit union movement we love. Do you know of an organization that needs our help? Drop us a line if we can help.
Become a mentor
The credit union mentorship project seeks to respond to the mentoring and career development needs of young credit union professionals by engaging seasoned industry leaders and their guides. We are looking for mentors who currently work or are recently retired from a position within the credit union industry, whose current or past position is mid-level management or higher and who have the ability to make time in their schedule.
Drop us a line if you’re interested in joining the cause.
Become a partner
Collaboration makes us tick. We’ve been fortunate to have a number of leagues, trade associations, and other organizations partner with us to help them energize their young adult programs. Drop us a line if you’re interested in working together.
